You can select various assists from the game options menu like braking, steering, stability and steering sensitivity. The transmission in the game semi ie. you have to only use a clutch while starting a race and then the transmission goes into automatic mode and you have to take care of the steering and the acceleration and braking only.
Each race info has a number of laps, difficulty, map view of the track, last best score and other information on the screen which can help in winning the race.
